How it works

  1. Pick your book The list online is live, if it is on the form, it is available.
  2. Choose when and where to collect Assalah or the Lighthouse, Morning or Late afternoon.
  3. Pay when you collect $5, or 250 EGP. Cash. Nothing to pay up front, no deposit held.
  4. Bring it back within 7 days Same spot, or and we will find one that suits you.

Questions people ask

Do I need to leave a deposit or my passport?

No. You pay the $5 when you collect the book and that is the end of it.

What if I am leaving Dahab before the 7 days are up?

before you book and we will sort something out, it is better to ask than to leave with the book.

What if I lose or ruin the book?

Sand and seawater happen. We will agree on a fair replacement cost rather than pretend it did not.

Can I suggest a book you do not have?

Yes, there is a box for it on the form. Suggestions are how the shelf grows.

Is everything in English?

Yes, the entire shelf is currently in English; however, we plan to add books in other languages in the near future.
